Art Licensing
Select patterns and illustrations by Wild Geranium Design are available for commercial licensing.
I offer curated surface pattern collections and illustrations for use on commercial products, with a primary focus on seamless repeat patterns for fabric, wallpaper, and interior applications, as well as other product categories. Licensing is typically non-exclusive and tailored to the scope of each project, including product type, distribution, market, term length, and production scale.
If you’re a brand, publisher, or manufacturer interested in collaborating, please submit a licensing inquiry and I’ll be in touch to discuss availability, scope, and next steps.

What is art licensing?
Art licensing is a commercial agreement that allows a company to use selected Wild Geranium Design artwork on products for a defined scope and term, while Wild Geranium Design retains full copyright and ownership of the artwork.
Is licensing exclusive?
Licensing is typically non-exclusive. Limited category exclusivity may be considered depending on the scope, distribution, and market of the project.
How much does licensing cost?
Licensing fees vary based on the artwork, product category, production volume, distribution, territory, contract term, and the type of production files required.
In some cases, original layered source files may be provided at a higher fee. Most designs are available in vector format; some designs are raster-based. File format and delivery options are discussed as part of the licensing agreement.
Who retains ownership of the artwork?
Wild Geranium Design retains full copyright and ownership of the artwork at all times.
May the licensed artwork be modified?
Technical adjustments (such as scale or file preparation) may be permitted with prior written approval. Artwork may not be substantially altered, recolored, or redrawn without consent.
What file formats are provided?
Final production-ready files are supplied based on the technical requirements of each project. File format (vector or raster), color space, and delivery method will be confirmed prior to licensing.
How long are licenses granted for?
Licenses are granted for a defined term (typically 1-3 years) and may be renewed by mutual agreement.
Do I need a license to sell products made from Spoonflower fabric? No. Fabric purchased from Spoonflower may be used to create and sell finished goods in accordance with Spoonflower’s terms of service. No separate license from Wild Geranium Design is required.
When is a separate licensing agreement required?
A separate licensing agreement is required when the artwork itself is used for production outside of Spoonflower (for example: factory-printed textiles, wallpaper production, stationery, packaging, or other applications).
